Eurostat Population projections

The latest population projections were released by Eurostat in July 2020. They provide data at national level across 31 European countries, covering the period 2019 to 2100.

These population projections were produced using data for 1 January 2019 as a starting point. They are calculations showing how the population size and structure change given specific assumptions on future developments for fertility; mortality and net migration.
